About Table Tennis Director

A free resource for the people who organize table tennis tournaments.

Running a good table tennis tournament takes knowledge that is spread across rulebooks, forum posts and the heads of experienced directors. Table Tennis Director is a free resource for the people who organize these events, most of whom are volunteers.

This site puts that knowledge in one place: plain-English guides, calculators for the arithmetic, printable forms, a rules summary and a free tournament manager.

How we keep it accurate

Equipment and rules figures are checked against the published Laws of Table Tennis and governing-body documents, and each page says what it relies on. Where something is a regulation that varies between organizations, we say so. If you spot an error, please tell us, and we will fix it and note the correction.

Independence

This is an independent site. It is not affiliated with the ITTF, USA Table Tennis, Table Tennis England or any other governing body or manufacturer. Where we recommend equipment, we describe quality criteria rather than selling a brand.

How the site is funded

The site is free to use. It may display advertising to cover costs, as described in the privacy policy.
